Renew and Relax

Time to renew and relax.  We have gone on our vacation to the Waimea Plantation Cottages three times now; it is such wonderful experience for us!  Relaxing, quiet, peaceful, stress free, did I say relaxing!  It gives us a chance to spend time with each other that isn't working or caring for my elderly mom.  In January 2016, we stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage, that had a great lanai that just asked for us to relax!  And we spent most of our time on it!  We took breaks to take walks on the black sand beach, watch sunsets, chat with others on vacation, and cook.
John's painting had people stopping every day this year!  I had several opportunities to go visit our new granddaughter, Laila Maye, who was born 4 days before we started our vacation!  Then we snuck in  another 4-day trip the end of March!
We always take our cameras, so we work, too!  Out of the January 2017 trip we worked on wave photography and got some great shots of our son in law, Nathan, surfing at Kekaha!   Our photograph, Shipwreck's Sunset, was recently finished.  It was taken at sunset on a gorgeous evening.  We have it available in both canvas and acrylic.
We are looking forward the our next visit to the Cottages in February 2018!
